Aquatic Therapy

Aquatic Therapy is a gravity-reduced exercise for medical conditions such as joint replacement, arthritis, fibromyalgia and following surgery. The buoyancy, support, and accommodating resistance of water enhance exercise and create a safe environment for progressive rehabilitation. The temperature of the water is kept at a comfortable 94 degrees. Our pool has multiple levels of depths up to 4-1/2; feet with whirlpool jets as well as an underwater treadmill, which allows early and progressive rehabilitative exercises. Supervised water exercises are performed in the water therapy pool. There are multiple exercises and techniques that we can perform within the therapy pool. Aqua therapy is excellent for total body reconditioning.
