Dr. Lewis began participating in many sports at an early age, but excelled at volleyball and track & field. Her interest in athletics and fitness has driven her to pursue a career as a physical therapist. She continues to expand her clinical expertise by seeking out continuing education courses and expanding on her manual therapy skills.
In order to create sustainable changes in health and function, it is important to treat the whole person, not just the symptoms or pain. Uncovering the root cause of symptoms, patient education, and creating a treatment program tailored to the individual will maximize recovery and help reach one’s functional goals.
